About

Arren Williams is the name, and I'm a stylist, editor and trend reporter. You'll catch my work regularly popping up in print in the likes of the National Post, House & Home and elsewhere. I'm also a guest expert on Citytv's CityLine, and you can occasionally find me on HGTV as well as on ABC 7 News in Chicago.

To keep things fun I've tapped a couple of friends - Julia Black and Jenn Hannotte - to contribute their views on design too. Enjoy!

The House Project

This is our latest huge project; a new house. The space has great bones but is in major need of tlc inside and out. I know I said we were after a 60's bungalow (perhaps announcing that on national television wasn't the best idea, but thanks for all the suggestions, lol) but this totally fits our needs, is more central than the other great neighbourhoods we were looking in and just feels - well - right.

It looks like a diamond in the rough. If anyone can make this diamond shine, it will be you! We really have enjoyed your other projects and eagerly await the results of this exciting new one. We will be checking regularly to monitor the progress.

I've always wanted to fix up one of these types of houses. The square layout and light will make for an amazing mod interior!

An audible gasp escaped my lips when I scrolled down your blog. Mr. Williams...you have your work cut out for you. I say.."bring in the bin and let's get to work." I eagerly await updates on your exciting new adventure.

You two have a great project ahead of you. I am excited for you. Remember to have patience in your temporary (tiny) apartment until January. Just think of the beautiful home you will soon be able to relax and enjoy.

Good Luck with the reno. Be sure to post pics as you progress through your project.
