Arren Williams X Hudson’s Bay — Bed/Bath/Beach Spring 2021

When creating this new collection for Hudson’s Bay Arren definitely took the ‘Bright. Happy. Optimistic’ design brief to heart. Anchored by three boldly patterned beds in digitally printed Oeko-Tex certified 100% cotton percale, each with their own point of view, the collection hints to 20th Century design high points that he often references in his work.

• Anni speaks to the bold abstract patterns of the Bauhaus movement, and plays with scale, colour and form to maximum effect.

• Spiro is a playful take on kicky Sixties monochrome prints and graphic Op Art patterns. 

• Ponti is an all-over pattern in a sunny yellow palette inspired by the tiles found in the mid-century architecture of Italy, Spain and Portugal.

Layer these beds with Portuguese cotton matelassé coverlets and cushions in saturated tints, or casually toss a woven cotton throw blanket over the end of the bed. It’s all designed to mix and match.
