So, to celebrate Canada Day, I want to take some time out to highlight the great work that is being done at Nia Centre for The Arts, Toronto’s first Black arts centre. How can you get involved? Your donations will help fund the re-development of the Nia Centre space at 524 Oakwood Ave. Changes that will lead to a renewed professional arts centre, creating spaces to support young people, as well as emerging and established artists to hone their artistic talents, prepare them for jobs in the creative sector and enhance their capacity for entrepreneurship.
