So right about now I'd usually be found bombing around town dropping off big glass jars filled with chocolate covered almonds to friends and clients alike, but not this year. Nope, this year its all about chickens. Flocks of chickens. Oxfam has a fantastic program called Oxfam Unwrapped that lets you buy the birds (or goats, beehives or sheep) so that they can be donated as a self-supportive start-up business - to market things like eggs, honey and milk - for recipients in more than 20 countries around the world. Now that's way better than chocolate covered almonds.
